Bit of fun....what's your favourite

I just got back from a 3 day cruise on the Carnival Sprit to Melbs from Sydney, which was great fun.

 

Whilst having dinner we started playing a 'what's your favourite' game about cruising and I thought it would be fun to hear everybody's stories.

 

So here is my list. Feel free to add.

 

I've written the questions first so you can cut and paste and I have written my answers below.

So my answers are:

 

 

1. Restaurant ------ Chops grille on Radiance OTS

2. show ----- probably Saturday Night Fever or the Cirque show on Liberty OTS

3. ship ----- Liberty OTS

4. lounge ------- not sure about this one. Probably the Colony Club on Radiance

5. cabaret act - Diane Cousins - saw her about 10 years ago in the med. i also liked the Celine Dion tribute on Rhapsody.

6. cruise director - Probably Anna Bass but I have never really taken to any of them if I'm honest.

7. meal - Fillet Mignon in Chops Grille - Radiance

8. snack - Pastrami on Rye on the Carnival spirit

9. feature (such as waterslide, arcade, ice rink, etc) - Ice rink on Liberty OTS

10. port - Barcelona or Rome

11. activity or gameshow - I'm a sucker for karaoke but also enjoyed Quest on the Rhapsody

12. drink - Ultimate Cosmo on Royal Caribbean

13. sail away - funchal Mediera or Sydney

14. beach - St Martin but i also loved Mystery Island for the snorkelling

15. shore excursion - sunset sail in Aruba.

1. Restaurant ----- Sabatinis on the Diamond Princess

2. show --- I enjoyed the hypnotist on the Radiance of the Seas recently

3. ship ---- The Diamond Princess

4. lounge--- skywalkers nightclub in the day has awesome views

5. cabaret act ----- havn't see one that I can rate highly yet

6. cruise director ---- no-one yet

7. meal ---Peking Duck on the Diamond princess mmmmmmmmmmmm

8. snack ---- white pizza

9. feature --- the padded deck chairs by the pools in the sun with book and cold drink.

10. port---have to say cruising in the NZ Fiords. Also love Champange bay, vanuatu and we saw flying fish as we sailed in.

11. activity or gameshow---making gingerbread houses for xmas on the Diamond princess.

12. drink -- anything

13. sail away-- I really enjoyed sailing out of Wellington NZ.

14. beach- Champange bay, Vanuatu

15. shore excursion - Taieri Gorge train trip was wonderful.
