What things are the best to do on these islands? Please tell all...we are going to rent a car...How easy is it to rent a car from the Port.....

Rent A Car! Better yet spend a few more $$ and get a convertible.

 

We did the ten day NCL Wind in April and had a car in Hilo (drove up to the volcano and drove around he rim); Kauai, drove all the way to the end of the road on the north shore past Princeville, it was specatular; Maui, drove to the Ioa Needle, Kahului, Kapalua and back to Lahaina.

 

There was four of us and we did what we wanted, ate at a local hamburger restr. in Kauai and saved money by having the car instead of the ship excursions.
