Best beach close to ship

I need to know the best, most beautiful beach that is close to the ship. I would like to get to the beach quickly since we get in dock at 2pm.

If you know cab rates please let me know.

I saw somewhere that the beaches close at 6pm so time is of the essence!

What are the must see/hot spots in town after the beaches close?

Thanks!

The most beautiful beach and close to the ship -- doesn't rhyme. There isn't any nice beach near the pier.

You will need to take a taxi. The closest (not the nicest) is Blue Bay beach.

For the nicest you would have to venture out to the Western side of the island. Cas Abao and Porto Marie are popular, but close at 6 o'clock.

In my opinion, the public beaches Knip and Little Knip are even prettier (no closing times, but no amenities).

If you want to stay at the beach later than 6 o'clock, I would go to Mambo Beach, catch a sunset and a Happy Hour.

Have a wonderful cruise!

  • 2 weeks later...

Blue Bay guarantees a relaxed beach day away from the crowds with all amenities you could want.

So if you want to stay (relatively) close to port and have a nice beach day, I would go to Blue Bay.

We are in port 2-10 We plan to do Irie Tours. They end up at Sea Aquarium Beach. Can we watch the sunset there?

Absolutely! You're in for a beautiful sunset. Have dinner at Hemingway's or Mambo.

What time does this beach close?

This beach doesn't really close, as there are restaurants and bars that have activities until late hours at night.

Is it a nice lovely safe beach?

It is lovely and it is safe.

Have a great cruise!
