Clarea Posted February 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2013 Hi, has anyone cruised a b2b on differentt ships? docked in fll. does RC help with this transition at all?thanks If the B2B is two different RC ships and there's a day between cruises, such as Oasis and Allure, Royal will put you up in a hotel and provide transfers for free. Other than that, I believe you're on your own.

dadroy Posted February 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2013 We cruised out of Ft. Lauderdale in mid December. We were on Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam for 7 days then got off and got on RCI Independence of the Seas. This is a HUGE port. You will be taking a cab from one ship to the other. This of course is because of the port. I live in California. Cruising out of Los Angeles or San Diego you can easily walk from one ship to any other ship in just a few minutes, but not Ft. Lauderdale. I had posted a question on CC about getting around and people warned me I could not realistically walk from one ship to another. I though they were kidding! THEY weren't. The place is absolutely huge and you cannot go from point a to point b in a straight line.
