familynew2cruise Posted February 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Has anyone used Budget rental after disembarkment? Did you use the Budget rental location on 85 SE 2nd St? was there a shuttle between port to that rental location? Were they quick to get your car and get you on your way? We don't have alot of time so just looking at options. The rental car is alot cheaper than a private shuttle but if it takes a long time to pick up a car, it may not be worth it. Noreno Posted February 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2013 do they offer shuttle to port and back to airport?
familynew2cruise Posted February 25, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted February 25, 2013 From what I can tell , they do not have a shuttle but you can take a taxi and should be about $10-15 dollars.
iancal Posted February 28, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Been there a few times in the last few months. No, they do not have a shuttle-at least they did not have one in mid Dec. We rented once from Avis and once from Budget ( they are beside each other across from Marriott Courtyard). No issues with either picking up or dropping off. Cab fare is $10-15 deepening on how you tip. They close at 1pm on the weekend.
new-to-cruise-02 Posted March 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2013 We are looking to rent from them too, and I thought the website said you could call for shuttle service?
KatPem Posted March 1, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 1, 2013 anyone familiar with their one way rentals?? Looking into driving home and while driving one way down would be $1000 due to a drop fee, on the way home, I am getting a rate of $103 for three days! Sounds too good to be true but I would love to only have to drive home instead of renting a car for there and back (our main vehicle may not make it)
