Dublin Pub Crawl / Tour

Recommended Posts

We will be staying overnight in Dublin on a Sunday night this July. I have heard a lot about pub crawls that focus on music at several locations throughout the night. Is there one or two that are highly recommended? We aren't big drinkers - just want to experience some local music. I guess even a few good pubs that are relatively close together that we can visit on our own would work. Thanks!

I have participated in the Dublin literary pub crawl and can recommend it.

Google lists several groups offering musical pub crawls, but I have no experience of them. However, they all take place in the Temple Bar area of the city which is Dublin tourism central. There are many pubs in Temple Bar and lots of them have live music every night. They are all close together, so there is really no need to be part of an organised group. The Oliver St John Gogarty pub is a good place to start your evening's entertainment.
