Berth 20 Venice cruise terminal

I just checked that the ship will dock at berth 20 in venice cruise terminal， which is at the far end. I planned to take the people mover to cruise terminal and anyone could advise the time to walk to ship?

It's a flat walk and it is about 1000 ft. not quite a 1/4 mile to the People Mover.

Back in 2009 (pre-people mover) was were on a HAL Cruise out of Venice and the ship was docked at the far end of the terminals. It was pretty far to the port entrance.

 

Suggestion: If upon arrival you think its too far to walk...go to where passengers are arriving for the ship by taxi and grab one dropping off passengers. I'm sure they would be happy to get an extra 5 euros to drop you at the people mover or even the P Roma Vaporetto station. They have to to that way to get out of the port anyway.
