Alas, Hold'em poker on Carnival ships (for now) is LIMIT.

I just got off the PRIDE last week. My son played NO LIMIT on the existing poker tables after the casino had closed (3am to 7am) with many of his new found friends. Casino management knew of it and didn't object at all. :)

They were very lucky in that they found someone who didn't want to play, but was an excellent dealer. They all tipped him, of course. He made out like a bandit.

One player had his wife mix up screwdrivers in their cabin and bring them down to the poker tables for all the players. Pretty rowdy group, yet they all had a fantastic time. :D

I saw paxs playing cards all over the ship, pool, buffet, atrium lounge, etc., however it was either Rummy or Euchre. I would think Hold'em Poker with all the chips, blind placement, etc. would be difficult in some areas of the ship, but who knows ?
