booboojoy Posted February 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2013 my pvp has told me that the cruise line monitors whaat they give for obc. is this true? do they have limits?
TEXASMUNK Posted February 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2013 so not very specific. But of course they monitor the OBC. They have to post it (normally done day after you sail). But if you get OBC from another source, I think it sounds like they are saying they are sure you will get it. The other side of the coin sounds like you are saying that they put a limit on the OBC. Doubt that, what ifyou had 5 rich friends that each wanted to give you $1,000 OBC, RCI would love that knwoing you might spend it onboard.
jamesr3939 Posted February 26, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2013 I once had $900 in OBC from various sources and nobody said anything. In fact I had to buy stuff at the end of the trip just to get it off the books.
