First of all this board is amazing! I have read lots on here but I am still confused.

I just want to lay out on the beach at our ports (Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Freeport). Do I need to take a taxi to the beach to do this?

Can I still get back on the ship to eat lunch?

Which port? Yes to all.

 

HMC beach right there. Nassau and Freeport you need a shirt taxi ride.

 

HMC the food is free. You can go back to ship for lunch but why. Grab a quick bite to eat down town. Freeport is a industrial zone do you either have to leave port or hang in straw market.

Depending which beach you go to on Nassau, you can either walk or take a taxi - but too far in my opinion to go back to the ship for lunch.

Half Moon Cay you just get off the tender and pick your beach spot:o They serve a lunch on the island.

Freeport we took a $5.00 ride to the beach, would not bother with going back to the ship for lunch.

Thank you for your reply. At Nassau and Freeport do I just tell the taxi to take us to the beach or is there a certain one to ask for?

I was thinking of eating on the ship to save $$.
