CCL Paradise vs RCL Monarch of Seas 4 teens?

Hello,

I am taking a 4 day cruise to Mexico in September with my sons, age 14 and 17. It's their first cruise, my 5th. I myself have sailed Royal Carribean's Monarch of the Seas and thought the Teen area looked great, and the rear basketball deck would be a big plus with my boys. The rock climbing seemed cool, but at $5 extra, big deal, they can do that anywhere. Im leaning towards Carnivals Paradise mostly because I want to experience a new ship, but am wondering if anyone has sailed on BOTH ships with teens and can compare them. Biggest concerns: a dedicated teen area and the basketball court. Thanks!
