KrisB0414 Posted February 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2013 I'm not sure if this has been covered but I am looking into booking a cruise in September. The Past Guest Save Big rate is cheaper than ES but wouldn't I be able to book ES and then submit a price protection form for the lower rate? Rare shof515 Posted February 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2013 for other rates besides ES, you can submit a price protection until final payment. after final payment, you may not get the credit
KrisB0414 Posted February 28, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted February 28, 2013 Even if it's OBC it doesn't matter to me. I'm going to spend it on the ship anyway :)

Book Early Saver and then immediately submit a price protection form for the Past Guest Save Big Rate. This way you'll continue to get price protection after final payment. I booked my son's room on Saturday under ES then it dropped $110 the next day with the PG Save Big Rate so I filed the price protection form. I got the approval email this evening that the claim was approved.
