Alaska Itineraries

We're still trying to decide on which ship to sail, but we're narrowing it down. We'd like to see new places. We know we want to sail the Inside Passage out of Vancouver. We did Glacier Bay already. We had the Tracy Arm excursion booked round trip out of Juneau but it was cancelled, so we'd like to see Tracy Arm. The Volendam and the Zuiderdam both have Tracy Arm listed as a service call, which I realize means the ship does not go in to Tracy Arm. The shore excursions aren't listed yet. Will these ships have the Tracy Arm excursion off the ship available? If no, that makes the decision easy: the Zaandam. If they do offer it, then we have to decide between the Zaandam, the Volendam, and the Zuiderdam.

Which ship do you prefer and why? My reference point is the Westerdam, which I understand is the same class as the Zuiderdam. How do the smaller ships compare?
