Tentative Holiday/Arlene Saturday Docking Plans

A cruise terminal employee told me tonight the current plan is to disembark the current passengers early, possibly as early as 2:00-3:00 am Saturday morning. Take the ship back out to sea, come back in late Saturday to pick-up Saturdays cruisers. This plan could change depending on the track of the storm.

When there is a threat of a hurricane the Navy will send their docked ships out to sea. The idea is a ship can steer clear of storms. If they were to stay in port the threat of damage is increased. Cruiselines follow the same rules.
