Seeking info on Allure activities for Navigator age group

We'll be sailing in two weeks, and I am still trying to get ideas on what activities are possible for kids in the 9 - 11 age group. I know they can go to Adventure Ocean -- and have seen a couple of the AO Compasses from Oct. 2012 -- but has anyone experienced firsthand organized activities outside of Adventure Ocean? For example, someone mentioned a Family Digital Scavenger Hunt -- is that a set-up time, or an "anytime" thing? Do staff members ever take groups out of Adventure Ocean to places like the sport courts or different venues around the ship, etc?

 

Trying to get ideas on what our 11 yr might do on sea days. I'm not sure he's going to enjoy being in Adventure Ocean all that much.
