Luggage Tag Question

32 Days til vacation!!!

 

We are on the Carnival Fantasy in M177, which I thought was Midship.

 

I looked at our luggage tags today.

 

It says

 

DECK M

M177

Starboard

AFT-S

 

 

That confuses me. If the room is midship, why does the tag say AFT?

the porters use the aft part of the ship to load the luggage into the ship

No worries...Ours says FWD-P and were also Midship..
