Read that this morning myself. The article is full of contradictions! One person says it is bad, another says it isn't. Everyone seems to overlook the sequestration and potential reluctance folks have for planning/booking cruises while we are all unsure of how this will affect jobs, savings, etc. One thing I think tells the real story is that the cruise lines have many new builds planned/underway so the industry doesn't seem to be too bearish on the future of the market! I choose to believe it will be as strong or stronger this year than last!
