St. Thomas weather in November?

Anyone been to St. Thomas in November? What was the weather like?

I'm going to be there in early November and looked it up at weather.com. In mid-November the average high is 88 degrees and the average low is 75. Can't help you with rainfall.

We took a land vacation there (St Thomas / St John) during Thanksgiving week 2002 and the weather was perfect! Mid-80s for the high and mid/low 70s for the low. Any rain occurred in the middle of the night and lasted no longer than a few minutes.

We were there on 11/16/2004. The week before there was a tropical depression that stalled over the area for a week. They had torrential rain for almost a week. It cleared out the day before we got there. We had a nice sunny warm day, but the surf was rough. Megan's Bay was closed due to run off from all the rain. You could actually see brown in the crystal clear waters of Megan's from high up on the Mountain Top. We wanted to go snorkeling at Coki Beach, but it was too rough, and decided to go to Sapphire instead. Even the usually calm waters at Sapphire were rough. Had to be careful swimming because the waves would knock you down. Not the best of beach days.

 

They say this was an unusual storm. Everywhere you looked you saw huge puddles and flooding. Same thing on St. Maarten.
