Carnival Match Play

I am curious about the match play. I understand the overall concept, and that when you purchase one of the Classic Cocktails you are able to take your receipt to the casino cashier for a match play coupon. However, I have heard that people have gotten them for other drinks as well, but it is hit and miss. Will my receipt tell me it is valid for a match play coupon or do I just have to know? Thanks for the info! This would greatly help my casino play as my wife likes her drinks and I love roullette! ;)

It has to come from the casino bar and be one of the classic cocktails

Not true. We bought drinks at the comedy club and received a match play stamp for them. The bartender stamps the receipt with a stamp that says $5 matchplay good tonight only. Then you can take that to the casino and match your $5 bet. Good luck!

What is a Classic cocktail?

They're labeled as such on the bar menu.

There are several to choose from. I get the LongIsland Iced Tea and Margarita. They are all about $8.75.

Do you receive Match Play receipts if you are a Classic Cocktail within the Cheers program?

Can you get match play credits and then walk away from a table (or machine) without using them all, or do you need to use the chips/credits next bet after redemption?

Do you receive Match Play receipts if you are a Classic Cocktail within the Cheers program? Yes. I just did this on the Dream last week.

They can not be used on slots, but you can use them when you want at table games.

Does it have to be YOUR receipt? A lot of people leave receipts laying around, If I happen to find someones receipt, can I take it and trade it in for a match play coupon?? :D

It did when I last cruised. They wouldn't let me use my wife's receipts.

I was able to take my husband's receipts and turn them in...no issues at all.
