Same category different deck - price drop

I have an 8C (midship) on Empress. There are no more 8Cs left on this deck but there are 8C (forward) on Verandah that are now cheaper than what my 8C on Empress is. Can I price match to this and get OBC and not a room change?

as long as it's the same category you should have no problem.

Yes, just request the OBC and put in the notes you do not want to be moved. I've done this several times and haven't had a problem.

Yes you do but OP is booked ES so they are good to go.:)

Midship is usually more expensive than forward but I suppose it's worth a try. Let us know what happens.
