As I understand it passengers are allowed to smoke in any and all CABINS.

But smoking in the public areas is only allowed on the port side.

I bring a can of Oust and Febreze with me. I use the Oust often but only needed the Febreze on the Sovereign at Christmas. Sovereign has upholstered bolsters right at nose level when lying in bed. I sprayed them each day with Oust and Febreze.

As for the pool: The only time we saw a drained pool was the morning of the first day of the first cruise of the season last April. Otherwise, the pool was full.

We took a cab to Horseshoe Bay Beach - boy is it beautiful. DH is not a beach person so we just stayed a short while (long enough for me to get soaking wet in the surf). The water has a velvety feel and the sand is like silk. I understand that you can use hotel facilities for a fee but the ships pool is a wonderful place when in port. It is not crowded - food and drink are right at hand.

When you are in port in Bermuda the shops and casino are CLOSED. (The doors are actually chained by the Bermuda government) The nightly shows ARE performed even when in port. (This is often incorrectly reported)

Have a great time next week!!
