new low-cost hotel in London

on 1 august 2005 stelios of easy-jet (low cost airline fame) will open a hotel in Lexham Gardens, South Kensington area of London. This will be basic but will be safe and clean with its own ensuite. rates from 10 pounds per person per night for double rooms - extra for a window and at busy times!

I can't comment on the hotel as I'm not familiar w/ it nor am I such a budget traveler.

 

However, I can tell anyone who's not familiar with London that the location is excellent! It's one of my favorite area's of London. Two good tube stops, Glouchester Rd and S. Kensington Stations. And easy walking to Victoria & Albert Musuem and Harrods. Tons of good restaurants in the area and a cheap cybercafe that's open late.
