Freeport- Junkanoo BC or Grand Lucayan??

Has anyone been to both beaches? Which is nicer? I'm looking for chairs and umbrella, sandy beach and maybe some off shore snorkling. We are only in Freeport from 8am until 1pm.

I've been to both. Junkanoo last month and Grand Lucayan a long time ago. I have to say I enjoyed both of them. I really liked the Junkanoo dancers a lot at the BC. Junkanoo BC is more rustic. The Grand Lucayan is attached to the hotel so you have an entrance fee but you will get great service. I did not see anyone snorkling at Junkanoo BC but plenty of people were enjoying the water.
