Reviewing our documents and wondering....

Can females wear dressy sandals in the evening?

And

Can we dress nice, but not formal on formal nights and still see the evening show?

I don't recall from previous voyages.

I hope not. Formal (as we are being promised) means formal in all but designated areas on deck 7: "... guests who wish to wear less formal attire to dine in our casual alternative restaurants (Kings Court and Lido) and also enjoy pre/post dinner drinks in the adjoining Winter Garden and Garden Lounge Bars." Details here.

I think "Yes" and "Yes" answer your questions (dressing nice is key), but I'm not a Fashion Policeman. Like most men, I don't pay much attention to what a woman is wearing on her feet, unless she happens to be kicking me at the time.

Yes, females can wear dressy sandals in the evening, or any other time of the day they so choose.

Voyage Personalizer will reveal the dress code for your voyage. Latest information is that it does vary, depending on the voyage.

I hope you enjoy your first cruise from Southampton on Queen Elizabeth starting 10th January 2014. Going the whole hog or just doing a segment ? No wonder you are doing a lot of researching. Thats one mighty leap having never cruised before.

I personally though do prefer the QM2 to the Vista class vessels.

Enjoy .

Hi, The Qm2 ,is large and elegant. I like the S/S Queen Elizabeth, smaller

elegant and is in the SIGNATURE CLASS VESSEL
