Reflecting on our March 9-16 Reflection Cruise

As TEXED has posted the ultimate review of this cruise, I will toss out our highlights/lowlights from the cruise.

 

Highlights

The ship. Our first time on a S Class ship and we were quite impressed.

 

Blu. It was everything we expected and more. I think we are now hooked on Aqua Class. Exceptional service and meals that never disapointed. Big thumbs up to Mansur and Johnny for making us feel like royalty.

 

Our CC group. We enjoyed meeting everyone at our three events and they made the cruise that much special for us. If you have never participated in the discussion boards, you are missing out, join in the fun.

 

Opportunities for dancing. We found several opportunities each evening to trip the light fantastic and the music options were varied and enjoyable.

 

Smoking policy. No disrespect intended for those who enjoy a smoke, but it was great to be able to enjoy our balcony and the casino in a smoke free atmosphere.

 

Art. Many, many wonderful examples throughout the ship. Our group especially enjoyed the picture outside of Blu. If you are going to be on the ship soon, be sure to check it out.

 

Lowlight

Wind. What was with all the wind? Seriously, that is my only complaint, and Celebrity had nothing to do with it.

 

We had a great 7 days and recommend this cruise without reservation.

i agree, it was a great cruise and two sea days were quite windy. although not raining, so it could have been worse! we just found a sheltered spot on deck and got lucky -- it was literally one of the only spots on deck that wasn't windy! i might have a new favorite spot to lay out now! :)
