Gift cards for starbucks

I can't remember, can you use a starbucks gift card on ships that have starbucks? I thought we used one last year on the Allure, but I seem to have forgotten. I'd like to buy a few beforehand if they accept them. Thanks!

People have reported being able to use them on Oasis and Allure, but someone else said that another ship (forgot which) would not take them.

I was on the Rhapsody last year and we couldn't use them.

I believe we used them on the Allure, but not 100%. Guess I can see if I have my final bill and see if there are charges. Thanks for your input!
