Restaurants near tremont house

We are staying at the tremont house prior to our cruise and I'm looking for a couple of good restaurants nearby. We don't have a car so walking distance is preferred. We know there are lots of restaurants around but which would you recommend? We like good food, good atmosphere and good service but not overpriced. Recommendations anyone?

There are several good restaurants in the Strand (wish I could remember the name of a specific one on the same block just a street over - they had good burgers and sandwiches). Also, you can walk to Willie G's right on the water by the cruise terminal.

Downtown restaurants:

Luigi's, Willie G's, Fisherman's Wharf, Olympia at Pier 21, Nonno Tony's. Black Pearl, Fudrucker's, Star Drug, M&M, Sky Bar, Gumbo Bar, Rudy & Paco's, Saltwater Grill, Mediterranean Chef, Apache Mexican, La Estacion, Bistro LeCroy, Joe's Crab Shack.

 

Our favorites: Rudy & Paco's, Olympia at Pier 21, Saltwater Grill, Luigi's. These are higher end and can be pricey. But the portions are huge so we split a dinner.

 

The hotel should have the new official visitors guide. It is full of info for the entire island.

The deli style restaurant at the Tremont is excellent.
