Making the most of a 4 day cruise

Hi All,

I'll be sailing on a 4 day cruise to Canada out of NY on the Truimph on July 21.

I usually cruise for 7 days, so this 4 day cruise will new to me?

As most cruisers know there is so much to do on a cruise, any suggestion on making the most of the short time I've got?

It depends on your personal likes and dislikes.

There is so much to do, I think I would decide that I just can't do it all, and stick to the things I really like to do.

You could decide what type of "style" of cruise you want to take. Next cruise I'm going to do a "Spa" style. I'm going to set up spa treatments on a couple of days and make sure I get out on one of the quieter decks and relax.

Making the most may lead to needing a recovery three days after. If you think a 7 day cruise flies by, wait till you see how fast a 4 day one goes!

Just enjoy it for what it is!

I recently went on my first 4 nighter and had a great time. I didn't waste any time going to shows, I just did the stuff I liked. It was short but I had a wonderful time. I made it a relaxation cruise, sipping foo foos by the pool, people watching, reading books, etc. I ate in the dining room for dinner each night and breakfast each day. It was great being waited on. I also spent some time in the casino.;) I can honestly say I enjoyed the 4 nighter just as much as my previous 7 nighters and 8 nighter. Fun & games are great but just relaxing can be just as memorable.
