anyone do the Blue Lagoon from the ship ? says 8 to 12:30 for excursion I see that ferries come back at 1 and 2 and 4 so even if you booked with the ship can you choose to leave on the 2 pm ferry ? Anyone ever been ? Wanted to do Atlantis but they really raised prices for Easter weekend

We are more than likely doing this excursion and I'm wondering the same thing!! Hoping someone has done this and can answer! :D

The key question is what time does your cruise ship leave port?

 

I have been to BL island twice, once on ship excursion and once on self booked excursion, and you can certainly leave on whatever return ferry that you choose, but you need to allow at least 30 mins for ferry to get back to port and another 10-15 mins walk back to the ship. So if you took 2pm ferry, you'd not want the cruise ship to leave until 4 pm at the latest, as you don't want to cut that too close.

That make sense..we are there until 5! Our tour starts at 830 so we will just take the 230 ferry back...:)
