Coke or Pepsi products on Mariner?

Recommended Posts

Most vendors cruise or otherwise serve Coke. They have a reputation of being much easier to deal with than Pepsi. In your large franchises Pepsi is usually served in places that are owned by Pepsi (Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC). So, for those of us that are Pepsi lovers out there, it can be difficult to find unless you're willing to bring your own. :)

You can bring Pepsi on board. We usually gag down the Coke (:D JOKING, Dolphin-dan) while on board, but picked up some Pepsi & Diet Pepsi in Jamaica and took back on the ship with no problem. I had 3 or 4 people tell me they bring their own Pepsi on board from home. We have the cabin attendant empty the refrigerator as soon as we board - do not want to buy the mini-bar stuff. This gives some room to store the "smuggled" Pepsi.

Actually they make people walk the plank who sneak Pepsi onboard, don't listen to this, OBVIOUSLY, tormented soul :D

Kidding and EBFURR is right, you can bring it on and not freak anyone out, unless you bring on a truckload or something.

I was on Navigator last May, and they DID have CF Diet Coke. I had to ask for it, and it wasn't everywhere. The bartender in the Dining Room came by the first night, and when I asked for CF Diet Coke, he tracked it down for me. When he brought it to me, he asked if I'd be wanting it every night. When I said yes, he got a case to keep behind the bar, and it was brought to me every night at dinner (unfortunately, I found out a family emergency caused him to depart the ship a few days before the end of the cruise, so I couldn't tip him personally!). I also had luck requesting it in the Casino, and one of the pool-side bars.

We're sailing Enchantment in February, and I'm HOPING (crossing my fingers) that they'll have it, too! I can't drink caffeine for medical reasons, and I prefer diet soft drinks because of the lack of calories. Since I don't drink alcohol, coffee or tea (I know, I'm boring), CF Diet Coke is my only "vice."

Happy Cruising!!
