cmztravelers Posted March 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2013 For those of you who rely on public transporation when traveling, I just received a reply from the Victoria BC Transit organization regarding US currency on their buses. Here is the response: We do accept US currency, adult cash fare is $2.50. Unfortunately we do not sell day passes other than through a local Vendors. The closest vendor to the Cruise ship docks is the Little Gem Grocery store at the corner of Montreal Street and Superior. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Cruise ship dock to the Little Gem grocery store.

No one will blink an eye if you use 10 US quarters. this map will help you find the little Gem: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=212770407613531027445.0004665d7f3e28f06866d&msa=0&ll=48.42107,-123.381443&spn=0.012318,0.033023&iwloc=0004a7201f8bac0860562
