outside viewing areas on Silhouette?

we are used to HAL and the promenade deck and other outside viewing areas....it doesn't seem there are any outside areas except for 12 and above. am i correct?

You can go outside on Deck 5 on either side of the ship. You'll be just below the lifeboats. There are lounge chairs in their area as well.

 

Unfortunately the outside area doesn't wrap around the ship so you can't walk laps without crossing through the interior of the ship at each end.

The lifeboats and tenders rest directly on the Promenade deck on X's Solstice class ships and are not above it like on many other cruiseships so most of the view on that deck is blocked by these boats. As you can see from the attached shot the only outside areas on this deck with a clear view is in front of the first lifeboat and where the centrum is.

That's correct... sorry... was thinking of M-class promenade which is much more open.
