MIAMI=where are the ship?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

i live in miami and I loved to se the liberty and majestic + carnival and ncl sailing out the port of miami.

Since royal pulled the LOS from miami years ago we only have the mayesty of the seas and once in a while 5 days of liberty. Do you know if there is any new ship from Royal coming back to miami ? Even Port canaveral has the freedom , we dont have any thong like that in here :(

I also heard that royal got mad with the port of miami because of the new tunnel but I cant confirm that.:confused:

Vision of the Seas will be in Miami on Nov. 11 for a 2 Night Bahamas cruise, then 3 days to Colon, Panama on Nov. 13.

Adventure of the Seas will be in Miami in April 2014 for a 4 Night Bahamas Cruise on Apr. 9, a 7 Night East Caribbean cruise on Apr. 13, and then a 14 day Trans-Atlantic on Apr. 20.

Of course, the Majesty of the Seas is the only Royal Caribbean ship sailing year round from Miami. Port Everglades offered Royal Caribbean a better deal than the Port of Miami for the Oasis-class ships.

It's a business decision. The costs to operate a ship out of Miami got high enough that it was cheaper to sail from Port Everglades. Also, the contract for Oasis and Allure for Port Everglades require a certain amount of passenger traffic each year regardless of which ship they're on.
