Dumb question of the day - onboard credit and your credit card deposit

If you buy $350 in onboard credit, do you still need to do a credit card or cash deposit? Just curious about that one...

It depends on how long your cruise is. I know on a 7 day you have to deposit/hold 250.00 per person.

I dont really know, but I will just guess :) I would think they would still need you to set up your account with either cash or a credit card. That would give them a chance to get more of your money when you spend the $350.
