Freedom -Frozen Drink (Virgin) package available last week

Recommended Posts

Well, we got confirmation this afternoon that this drink card will not be available for any cruises like we had hoped.

Apparently this was strickly done during the cruises happening on spring breaks and therefore not a permanent thing. This is quite a bummer for us as we were looking forward to it.

Then again, not looking forward to it enough to want to cruise during Spring Break next year! LOL

$20 is a steal, that is less than $3 a drink! Frozen Virgin Pina Colada on a sunny day by the pool. :D

Guess they lost money it with those prices :(. Short experiment that did not succeed. Maybe they will bring it back a slightly higher price??

Trust me...there is not any money lost. There are other lines that offer a non alcoholic package that includes soda AND mocktails for about $60 for a 7 night cruise (Princess for example). They know they make more than enough money with their alcohol sales to more than make up the difference. Mocktails really aren't that expensive for them to make as they are mostly purees and ice and juice.

We got it on Princess when we went to Alaska. It was so cold we never had more than a couple. Wish they had it for our E. Med cruise this summer.
