From Southampton: shipping luggage to US

I recall this subject being discussed before, but can't find the thread now. Does anyone have knowledge of a shipping company in Southampton that will ship our suitcases to the US? And, possibly know of the estimated cost?

I don't know how good these people would be for a Southampton pickup, but this company operates the left luggage facilities at the main London airports and train stations, and also has an excess baggage shipping service.

Thanks Globaliser, I was hoping to find a place for shipping in Southampton, thus ridding us of the luggage there as we travel around the area using just our small carryons.

Don't know whether this will help, I shipped a couple of cases back from Berlin to England using a company called T.N.T. I was stuck with too much luggage and had elderly parents as well to contend with around Europe and didn't know what to do, then saw one of these trucks going past. I had seen them in Australia where I live, so got the Hotel reception to call them. They came to hotel and took them to relatives in England.Don't remember how much,wasn't cheap but was worth it. They arrived in perfect condition.Maybe someone might have further info. Good Luck
