Rare crewsweeper Posted April 1, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2013 yeah she is def. the ugly step sister of Breeze & Magic! lol I wouldn't necessarily call her that. The Cloud 9 Spa on the Dream has a better layout than the Breeze. And the Serenity deck is a bit larger too. And the Farneheit 555 is a much more roomier steakhouse than on the Breeze. And she still has the pasta bar and tandoori, both better food choices than Guys. She already had a burrito bar. The Dream was built and laid out long before the 2.0 upgrades were designed. Thus little or no room for some of the things. I do think they could have done away with the art gallery on the Dream during it's dry dock and installed a RFPub or Alchemy Bar. But 'm not a mass produced art auction aficionado. Over all having slightly different amenities on similar size ships is probably a good thing. Now if they'd only mix up the ports of call a bit more. Bella8286 Posted April 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2013 IMO the Dream is just a bigger version of a smaller ship. I would try it again but our Dream cruise didn't have a lot going on or anything "extra" that we can't get on a smaller ship (other than better ports!) Butch was our CD though and kept us entertained :)

Tantra1 Posted April 2, 2013 #11 Share Posted April 2, 2013 We were on the Breeze in the Med before her TA cruise and enjoyed the ship and the amenities you mentioned. We also have and will cruise on the Dream even thought it doesn't have them. However, it does have a nice limited number of Spa packages that includes the T pool, steam rooms, large showers, and relaxation rooms that we enjoy. Since it is a short drive to embarkation and we are not interested in most of the ports it is the main reason for us to take a winter cruise in the Caribbean on the Dream. Cheers!
