Wine in Prime 7 Navigator

Hope some of the current cruisers on the Navigator can provide me with some information.

We were on the Navigator a few weeks back and really enjoyed the Wine in Prime 7. Can someone pls let me know the type of red wine ? If I recall it correctly it was a Mondavi mix. Arthur, the sommelier will certainly know.

Regent emailed a wine list for Voyager noting wines by dining venues. You might request the same.

I believe you are looking for Robert Mondavi - Private Selection - Meritage California 2010. We enjoyed this on the Voyager in October. It is a lovely blend of 42% cab, 30% merlot, 20% malbec and 8% petit verdot.

Beachtango is correct. Just got off the Navigator (last Thursday) and enjoyed this wine in Prime 7 and very tasty it was too!

You can easily purchase Mondavi Meritage (which is very nice and is the house selection in Prime 7) at supermarkets that sell wine for $8. Prices are lower at discount chain stores - such as Total Wine.

beachtango, englishlee, thank you so much. Yes, this is the one I was looking for, we enjoyed very much and I was looking for it a the local wine store (totalwine doesn't carry it here unfortunately).

A suggestion that may be obvious: be sure the label says "Meritage." Mondavi has the exact same burnt yellow label for its Cab and several other reds. Its deceptively simple to take the "wrong" Mondavi bottle to the cashier - I know I did initially.
