cab from london hotels to southhampton

does anyone have an idea of the price for a cab to go from central london to the pier in southhampton?

burtshell: I have quotes ranging from £115 to £170 (approx $207-$306 USD) for a minicab from Central London to Southampton Seaport in August. An MPV (minivan) runs slightly higher, but you can share the cost if you have another couple to travel with.

 

Alternatively, you can take the train from Waterloo Station to Southampton Central, and then take a cab to the pier. I got prices off the web indicating $51 USD per person for first class, or $39 USD for second class for the train tickets.
