We took our kids on century over christmas week two years ago and they loved it. My 14 year old had the best time ever...better than carnival or princess..of course it was christmas week so the boat was loaded with kids.

Strictly from a facilities for children standpoint, the Millennium class ships are the best and Horizon/Zenith are the worst (relatively speaking). The quality of the children's program on any of the ships is going to be pretty good.

Taking grandchildren and their parents on Caribbean cruise this winter, any suggestions? Best ship?
We've taken our GS with us twice and he had a grand time on both, but was not yet old enough for the Kid's program. You don't note ages, but be aware that 3+ and out of diapers are both requirements for those programs.

skyepepper....

I have sailed on three Celebrity Ships...with children.

Celebrity has a top notch Children's Program. The staff in the children's program...are counselors, not babysitters.

The children's program on the three ships was very consistent.

Celebrity excells in their children's program, IMO.

I have sailed three times with my daughters (now 6 & 9). We have been on the Century and Constillation.

While the Connie has a much better facility both girls loved the kids program.

Many times they did not want to leave the fun factory.

I do not think you could go wrong by bringing kids on any Celebrity ship.

We were on the Constellation Norweigen Fjords cruise (14 days) and the children's program was wonderful. The staff was so caring and truly acted like they wanted to be with your children. Our son, then 10, wanted to be in the Fun Zone all the time and raved about it the whole cruise and for many weeks after we got home. Best children's program we have experienced!!!
