How long can we stay at Cayo levantado (RCL)

Going to Samana in 1 month. I'm looking at the excursions to Cayo levantado and they all say "Approximate time: 4 hours". Is this true? or is it an 'at your leisure' excursion? can we arrive at 9am and get the last tender back to the ship?

Basically the tenders run to the island several times in the morning and then back from 1:00 on. As long as you catch the last tender back you can determine how long you stay. Enjoy.
