First time to Vancouver - passport enough?

Recommended Posts

Taking our first Alaskan cruise in September that begins in Seattle and ends in Vancouver. Plan to spend 3 nights post cruise in Vancouver and fly back home to the states from YVR. Read on another post about nexus and GE cards. Are these required or just nice to have? Have never flown internationally before.

Have mid-day flight. Is a passport adequate providing we allow plenty of time (is 3 hours enough?).

Thanks in advance for your assistance

You will be absolutely fine with your passport. NEXUS cards and the Global Entry programs come with extra fees and are really designed for people who travel a lot iternationaly....they expedite the process but are not necessary.
