How to get a Taxi from Willemstad to Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort

Hello all. We are taking a Bounty Adventures Sunset cruise and it leaves from the old Hyatt now the Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort. We want to take our own taxi there so we have more time shopping in town.

 

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this and appox. how much it will cost?

 

Also it appears that we will be there on their Memorial Day. Is anything open on that day?

There will be taxis lined up on Main Street after your shopping is done. Otherwise, there is a taxi parking very near the pier. You will have no problems getting transportation to Sta Barbara.

 

We don't have memorial day over here. On April 30th it's Queen's Day and this year the queen abdicates and the new King is crowned on April 30th. Festivities all around.

May 1st is labor day and all offices plus some stores will be closed.

Okay, it is Labor Day I saw. Can you give me a balkpark figure on cost to get from shopping to resort. Also will it be worth going shopping on labor day? Really looking forward to the spice market and the shoe stores LOL!
