Coco Cay Glass Bottom Boat

Has anyone done this? Is it worth the money?

Was also interested in this.. We have a 4 yr old and are debating snorkeling vs the glass bottom boat .

[Getting out there]

I went on it last week. It was excellent! The driver and his helper are wonderful. The helper dived down and brought up all kinds of interesting things: sea cucumbers, starfish, all different kinds of conchs etc. They were passed around the boat.

There was a little girl about 2 and he gave her a sea biscuit to keep.

Just to know it's rocky and looking down made me sea sick. I ended up hanging over the side of the boat. The driver never had a smile leave his face and kept everything as normal. When he was going to head into rockier water he brought me back and then whispered to everyone else to come back in a half hour and he would finish the ride. I offered to clean the side of the boat and he said no way. I was on vacation.

Meant to reply earlier. We took this in nov. 13 and had a great time. It was not crowded and we got to handle a variety of sea life. The guide was very informative. Also, we found a tick on my granddaughter just before sailing and one of the crew took us to first aid where she was seen by a doctor quickly. They waited for us (it wasn't long) but I thought it was nice of the crew member to take us rather than send us.
