ive been on the allure and the jewel I have the adventure book for that march date! I can tell you the jewel shuts down in port unlike the allure. Ive always wondered why there is a game room on a ship....I found out why! yes it is port intensive but no one stays off from the time we dock to the time we leave. Dh and I are mid 30's I didn't think twice about the adventure its a bigger ship with more to do. although the self leveling pool table on the jewel is pretty cool. I may get flamed for my opinion but its the truth. we've been on the jewel and the serenade, which are sister ships, because we love to sail from san juan. There just isn't enough on that class of ship. although beautiful after a little while your over that.

Ive been on both ships and would pick Jewel any day…………but different things appeal to different people………………………...
