Has anyone done the Historic Harbor Cruise & Discover Atlantis through RC?

I was just curious if anyone has done this excursion. I was wondering how the harbor cruise portion of it is? How long are you on the water and what sites do you see? Also, how much time do you get at Atlantis for the guided tour?

Thanks!

I just did this tour this past Wed and it wasn't what we thought. The harbor cruise is just the water taxi taking you to the nearest dock to Atlantis. They mention a few things but the PA system was bad and couldn't understand. Then you walk a long ways to get to Atlantis. Once you're there the fish tanks, etc are pretty neat. Then at the end of the tour they leave you and you have to find your way back to the docks and take the water taxi back.

If you are just looking to get across the harbour and see the Lobby, digs and casino, grab and cab ($4 each person) or ferryboat ($3 pp) and pay $29 when you get there. The only additional thing you get with the tour is the guided tour of the grounds, which is pretty boring, since you can't DO anything.

How long is the tour of the Digs? If you just spend the $29 are you able to see most of the marine habitat or do you miss any of it?

We will only be in port from 12 to 6, so I am concerned about the time frame. Thee will be 4 of us, including our mothers, ages 76 & 82 (no kids). My mother has bad knees and can't walk very far. She does love to snorkel, but probably wouldn't use a pool or waterslides! My MIL doesn't swim, but loves to stroll and shop. I guess my major question is, would we be better off to just go see the Digs & then grab a snack at one of the restraunts then visit the shops or get a room for the day and let people do what they want? We will be snorkeling at 3 other ports, so it's not a huge priority.

Thanks for your help!
