Should I be a "big shot" at Preservation Hall?

Has anyone purchased VIP tickets to Preservation Hall?

 

Are you glad you did? Would you do it again?

 

The thought of waitng in line for an hour and then not knowing if you'll have to stand or not isn't too appealing. However, I'll stand in line if I have a good shot at a seat.

 

We'd be going April 29, 30, or May 1, 2013. That's during the week....but Jazz Fest is over the weekend, if that helps.
