I think they switched it to FLL some time ago. And that's what's on the website and what I was told when I booked. Are you on it too? It will be nice to meet you. But if it was St Thomas when you booked, it's really bad if they haven't told you of the change.

Well, I am starting out the week before, and yes, in the booklet I have, it says Charlotte Amalie and back and then to Lisbon. I added that week to halve the cost and to sail with the LaPalomas again. So, I am not getting off, no matter where it ends up!!!! I never bothered to look at the website, just told my agent to book it. It's really a different itinerary and with more sea days, which always appeal to me. I have still been to all the stops.

Just think of the surprise I would have had when my pre-cruise documents arrived!

When I booked the voyage it was round trip St. Thomas and then to Lisbon . They altered the itinerary and I was notified. I am still planning to go . I got my confirmed dividend miles itinerary last week and am staying at the Wyndham Sugar Bay 3 days before .I will leave Lisbon on the 6th . I am booked for '07 also and will stay in Portugal longer at that time !!! I hope to see all of you at the SkyBar after we board !!!

norm......thanks for that computer info. My laptop doesnt have all that new fangled wireless stuff, but Im sure it could be arranged (its only about 12 months old) ...just have to get someone here with a ~lot~ more knowledge than me, to explain how it all works in kindergarten language! It would certainly make life easier if I could send all my emails from my own room. I will look into it.

cruiseguy........well thats at least 2 of us on the Spirit, (plus my hubby and your other half too?) I remember Denyse also saying she was thinking about doing part of the trip. I am surprised such a great itinerary isnt already booked out.

 

My husband may not be taking part in any of the "formal" nights.......he went to collect his Tux today from having alterations done.......when he unpacked it....only the jacket was there! I wouldnt be at all surprised if the trousers had fallen off the hanger as he was walking to the car!! Some street person may be very nicely dressed tonight!:rolleyes:

The hubbie and I will be on for a segment too. We are boarding in Cairns and getting off in Singapore. We are going to spend two nights in Sydney precruise and then fly up to Cairns that morning. See you at the sky bar!

We are flying up to Cairns the day before and have already booked a "room with a view of the ocean" at the Sofitel Reef Casino (on advice from people in this Board). We hope to see the Spirit sail in and I will be ready with champagne and cameras!

We are going to fly up from Sydney the morning of the cruise. We have never been to Australia so we are going to take the opportunity to spend two nights in Sydney pre-cruise.

We're holding a suite for the 29-day sailing Auckland-Singapore, commencing March 5th, although we may need to halve that due to time constraints.
