Late Departure - When can you board?

The Jewel of the Seas in Sept/Oct doesn't depart San Juan until 8:30pm. What time can you board?

You should be able to board as usual, cut off I believe is 90 min before sailing. In this case I would think everyone needs to be on board no later then 7 PM. They have to account for all passengers on board before they get clearance from the harbor master to sail.

Even when we don't leave San Juan until 8:30 we are always on the ship before noon. Love laying at the pool the first day and totally enjoying the first day of our cruise.

Sme people have said 11:30-1pm. But that wasnt jewel as she isn't there yet

When sailing from San Juan, the Jewel will depart at 8:30 no matter the month. As long as debarkation from the previous cruise went off without a glitch and after a zero count has been recorded, embarkation for your cruise should begin around 11:30.

Brilliance boarding started at 11 am, so I'd think, other ships have the same boarding time.

Thanks for the info, everyone. This will be my first time cruising from San Juan. I normally cruise from Florida ports.
