CPS parking

We are using CPS parking for an upcoming mini cruise from Southampton. We will be departing from ocean terminal. I see from the paperwork that it is a self park and keep your keys process for short cruises. Can anyone tell me how far we need to walk with our case from the car park to the ship? As we only have an overnight bag i want to take this onboard myself rather than wait for luggage delivery at the cabin later. i read somewhere that although the cabin may not be ready (unlike princess, where you have access immediatley) You can drop your bag in the room by chatting with the cabin steward. Thanks.

The car park is just across the road from the terminal. If you have heavy luggage you could drop this off at the terminal before parking the car.

Just returned from a 2 night mini cruise, can confirm that you park your car yourselves in the car park opposite the terminal and it was a few minutes walk to the ship. Porters were waiting to take your cases but were encouraging you take on your own case. We left ours with the porters but wished we had taken it on board ourselves.
